Due to previous guests letting us down we have to say that

by continuing with the booking, you are agreeing to the

House rules below

and the

Government travel policy relating to COVID

  • That there is no reception and electronic key codes to get in the building and to your room will be sent by email.

  • Room Bookings - No Deposit required, unless you select Non-refundable rate which payment will be taken on booking. 

  • Standard bookings - The full balance payment will be taken from the card details supplied 3 days prior to your arrival 

  • You will be sent a receipt for the balance payment by email approximately 3 days before your arrival with the key codes. 

  • If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

  • Sole use of building Bookings - We will take a 15% deposit when you make the booking through our website. The Balance payment is due 30 days before your stay along with a £50 Refundable damage deposit. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. ​If any payments have already been made and cancellation is outside of the 30 days, a full refund including the 15% deposit will be given with no extra charges

That you have checked the 'cancel or amend' page

  • That you will speak to us either through the volunteer(s) who are in and out of the building throughout the day and night, (Except exclusive use of the whole building) or by phone if there are any faults, advice etc. 

  • If you book direct with us, there is no admin or card fee to make the booking

  • That all arrivals are after 4 pm. You can drop luggage off earlier on request

  • No smoking in the building or out of the windows

  • No illegal drugs

  • No anti-social behaviour

  • No noise after 11 pm

  • No dismantling of fixtures, beds, furniture etc.

  • No wedging of fire doors open (they are there for a reason)!

  • There is staff living on the premises for your security, (Exclusive use - the staff will not come into the main building whilst you are there unless it is for breach of these rules, security issues or to rectify any faults).

  • No stag/hen or similar party groups

  • Only paying guests permitted on the premises

  • Only children over 5 years welcome but not in the Dorms. (Does not apply to booking sole use of the whole building).

  • No pets allowed on room bookings (If you are booking the sole use of the whole building you must speak to us first)

  • To leave the building by 10.30 on the departure day

  • That BhP is not responsible for your parking but will assist by providing maps of parking areas

  • That BhP does not provide meals and during Covid periods that the kitchen may be out of use,(Does not apply to Sole use of building) social distancing will be in place and some rooms have shared bathrooms

  • That termination of the stay with no refund and further charges may be associated with any breach of the house rules drawn from payment card and/or Damage Deposit.

  • That we are 'committed to clean' Covid guidelines

  • That you are adhering to all the English Government Guidelines regarding travelling and staying away from home, See Covid Policy
