BhP  is available to individuals, couples, contractors, groups and also for exclusive use of the whole building. It has a large self-catering kitchen with everything you need, lounge, dining area, drying room, and cycle storage. They’re all ready if you want a peaceful break or an active one or need somewhere to stay whilst working or at College. 


BhP is a large Georgian building in Weymouth close to the beach. From the outside you might think of a typical B&B but when you get inside you’ll see and feel the difference.  

BhP has a large communal lounge and diner where you can make new friends or socialise with your own group if you have booked the whole building.  There is a large kitchen with everything you need to cook, so you can stay in to eat and drink.

    BhP is located in the heart of the Jurassic Coast!

    Keep an eye out for ancient fossils on the South West Coast path! 

What’s the plus?

Is it the double En-suite rooms, Private rooms or Dorms all with bedding and towels included? Is it the gorgeous Georgian building? Is it the superb location? Perhaps you should be the judge.

Along the banks of the River Wey and the long sandy Blue flag beach, Weymouth is elegant yet playful, as you’d expect from a Georgian seaside town. BhP is right in its heart. From here you can    enjoy all the traditional seaside fun or you could also choose more energetic pursuits along the Jurassic Coast; or more marine activities such as deep sea fishing, diving in the bay, climbing the nearby cliffs, or sailing – just like the Olympians of 2012 did.



You will find the set up quite unique.

The Double en-suite bedrooms will be the same as any B&B, the private rooms are mainly Bunk beds with the exception of the 3-bed attic room which are single beds.

The Dorms are shared unless you book all the beds!

All the Private rooms and Dorms have lockers, reading lights and plug sockets. They have shared showers, WC's and wash basins

  You have the added bonus of a large shared kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals, 5 burner gas hob, 2 ovens, microwave, toasters, fridge/freezer, crockery etc.

Full central heating and hot water 24/7

The shared lounge has a flat screen TV, DVD player

The dining room can seat 23 people with a library and games cupboard

In order to do this and to keep the cost of the Rooms/Beds down, without losing the standards of cleanliness and comfort they do not have a Front desk. The establishment is self-admission - All the door locks are operated by electronic key codes, (Main front door and your room). This means you are no longer restricted to times of arrival, having to queue to get your keys etc".

DRIVING OR WALKING FROM BUS STOP - SEAFRONT. 5 minutes by vehicle - 15 to 20 minutes on foot.
Directions: From any direction into the town find the seafront
The most prominent feature on the sea front is the Jubilee clock. Head North and go pass the clock and you will come to St Johns church with a statue of Queen Victoria to the front of the church. Adjacent to the statue is William Street, turn into William street and you will immediately come to a cross road with the Waterloo pub opposite, travel straight across the junction still in William Street and the road will then bear to the left into Walpole Street (one-way street). Bunkhouse Plus is on the left. 

WALKING FROM TRAIN STATION - 10 minutes on foot
Turn left from front of station into Ranelagh Road. Follow road to Walpole Street on the right. Follow Walpole Street to the end, the building is on the Right-hand side.
